Our philosophy is firmly based in the belief that nature provides us with optimal ingredients for maintaining perfect health and vitality, and it is also our opinion that we owe to our canine and feline companions the best possible opportunity to remain healthy and vital.

In business since 2002, Know Better Pet Food is a family operated business located on the southwest coast of British Columbia, Canada. Our cat food and dog food products are made with care and distributed Canada-wide and internationally from our own facility, and made and distributed in the USA through our licenced distributors.

We promote the ethical treatment of animals. For many years we have been actively involved in the rescue and re-homing of unwanted dogs and in promoting humane treatment of companion animals. Voluntary service has included membership on the board of Directors of the SPCA.

We are listed with PETA as a cruelty-free company that does not test on animals and you can be assured that Know Better Pet Food does no cruel animal testing. Our products are based on well established nutritional guidelines and contain only the highest quality human grade ingredients.  We take great pride and pleasure in producing these quality pet food products for you and your companion animals.  By raising our dogs and cats with uncompromised standards, we have enjoyed tremendous results.  For us there is no better pet food.
